Sun Prints

Today the boys and I took advantage of the beautiful warm weather and made some sun prints. I had originally bought this and was waiting to use it with our Sun lesson, but the weather was never warm enough.

The boys had a lot of fun making the sun prints. I saved a few sheets to do this again in the spring when we have more pretty things to print.

I purchased this kit from amazon.

We choose our items to print. As you can see we didn't have many natural items because its winter here. But we worked with what we had. We also printed some objects we found around the house.

It took about a a minute or two for the print to show up.

We rinsed the prints in water and waited for them to dry.

They turned out nice, but I can't wait to try this in the spring with all the lovely flowers.

  3. How fun! We would definitely be waiting for warmer weather before we tried this - it is so cold here this week! Thanks for sharing on the Virtual Fridge!
