Hi guys I wanted to share another art around the world post. This craft comes to you from Russia ;). The boys and I made matryoshka patterned dolls. We used Deep Space Sparkles art lesson.
Matryoshka dolls are wooden nesting dolls originating from Russia. They are handcrafted by folk artists and often feature a woman wearing a traditional Russian dress and scarf.
The boys drew the nesting dolls using a pattern.
Using a black marker they made different patterns on the dolls
Once they were satisfied with their patterns we cut out the dolls.
The boys painted their backgrounds.
Once the background dried they glued the matryoshka dolls on to the paper.
